Numerate students require mathematical knowledge, problem solving strategies, an ability to use a range of appropriate tools, and a willingness and confidence to engage with tasks. He/she can work both independently and in collaboration with others, and apply his/her mathematical knowledge in flexible and adaptable ways.​​​
